Btw Sega what is your Upload Speed ?
For newsgroups it tops out around 97.3kB lately it has been doing ~83kB for some reason, for torrents i can get ~130kB.

I've just noticed something at binsearch.info - if you include the filename in quotes in the subject (as is the default for most posting apps I know of) then it identifies the NFO file and will allow you to view it from the site. If you look further down, Grinder's and Starkiller's posts appear in this format.

segaflip doesn't do this at the moment - hopefully if he sees this he will change the format of his headers in the future.

That is an easy fix that i can handle, thanks for pointing it out.

On a side note, I had to go out of town for the last two days so I hope Building Empire uploaded ok.

I got a couple of damaged files on NT-HELL. No surprises there. The Par files more than covered them so and its looking good Segaflip.

They have not been too bad lately. I have not had a newsgroup issue with them for over a year now and my 90GB for 13 quid Astraweb account covers those problems. For a free service compared to most people here having their hand forced down the Premium Service route, I think we can sit here and feel quite smug with ourselves. Should they ever stick to their (alledged) 1GB/day upload/download limit I am totally screwed!!!!

Usenet.com Improved its servers.
I can really recommend their Service the best thing about it you can pay with Paypal!
And you dont have to make a 3 month contract!

Have you tried repairing with the par2 files??

They should be more than sufficient to repair 2 missing rar files.

You'll be lucky, although a great site for downloading the torrents, provided by people on here, the guy that runs it only seems to agree to thing he wants, in my eyes this seems a bit anul, there have been plenty of requests to upload some really decent things but they fall by the wayside

I'm a huuuuge ESB fan. It's always been one of my "sacred cow" films, and I've studied it like some peopel study Citizen Kane. So to say that I was looking forward to viewing Building Empire would be a bit of an understatment.

What a great job! All of your clips and choices of information were top notch. I especially liked the care you took in not using the same old interviews that we've heard over and over, but using a lot of the lesser known audio bytes available. The use of comic footage was inspired, and the on screen textual commentary was amazing (I could even have had even more!).

What I was expecting was a nice way to spend my Saturday morning, but what I wished for was a great DVD to proudly display on my Star Wars shelf. My wish was granted LONG LIVE JAMBE!

Jambe - I just got back from Finse in Norway (but you know where it is!) and I have to say that it has not changed that much in the intervening years ! Its good to compare the holiday snaps to the documentary footage and its a real buzz to think 'I was there'. I have to point out that the babyhum cap of the SP-FX:ESB documentary is much clearer than the one used (though it has Japanese subtitles burned in) I wonder if someone can't usenet/torrent a decent copy of that documentary that has no subtitles ??
Thanks to everyone who helped pull this together and most of all to Jambe. Now if only Lucasfilm would employ OCP and Jambe, and (for once) produce a decent OT documentary.

I am in desperate need of getting a copy of this. I just moved to an area where they don't offer dsl or cable! So here I am stuck with dial-up so downloading this would take forever.
