Hello all,

I travel this way to a land of like minds. Those whom believe in artistic integrity, the preservation of film and radically oppose the dismembering of a once great franchise for the almighty dollar and Lucas's ego. Many like us have been pushed out of fandom by prequel fans, both by mob assaults on other forums and even by their own appointed mods infiltrating SW fan sites in droves.

So I ask, whom has seen the once great theForce.net crumble, or felt the unfairness in the new fan order?

For dramatic effect, change both your "whom"s to "who." Proper grammar makes a great statement.

Your mum makes a great statement.

In the first instance, I've always found that theForce.net is too cluttered up to get a word in.

LOL...

I've been asked by one of my mod buddies if I want my old username unbanned. I keep saying no. I'll just end up getting banned again for arguing with one of the numerous SE/PT lovers.

MeBeJedi: Sadly, I believe the prequels are beyond repair.
JediRandy: They’re certainly beyond any repair you’re capable of making.

MeBeJedi: You aren’t one of us.
Go-Mer-Tonic: I can’t say I find that very disappointing.

JediRandy: I won’t suck as much as a fan edit.

My beef with TFN is the fact that certain people there will NOT let go of the old, outdated WEG figures.

I am a Saxton fan, and drooling idiots who think that some obscure RPG should override what is seen in the MOVIES, rubs me the wrong way.

I have to agree with that. ^^^

I used to post at TF.N for years until I finally couldn't take it anymore. Two reasons:

1) the puritanical rules/ridiculous over-modding

2) not much space for any type of dissent.

I've never spent much time at their forums (which is what I imagine your referring to), but I usually visit the site itself daily to just see the latest news about games, toys, MasterReplicas, etc.

TFN, and the Jedi Council forum in particular was a much better place 7 years ago when it was the first message board I ever registered for. It was a lot more civil and not as overcrowded with arrogant pre-teens and their adult counterparts. I still pop in there from time to time, but it's just not the same anymore. I used to get into heavy debates in the TPM and PSA forums back in the day, but such discussions are almost non-existant anymore, and I've grown tired of participating in them anyway. I do still frequent my Denver Fan Force board there however. Some my friends in that group I've known since the TPM days.
