It's becoming apparent that the Lucasfilm continuity guys aren't doing a very good job of keeping track of these. The official site's use of logos to designate eras only adds to the confusion. Logos are used to represent organizations, not periods of time.

So we have to look at these logos, see how they've been used in the movies, and come to our own conclusions. I've come up with the following:

As Kaal-Jhyy has pointed out, this is for the new "Legacy of the Force" era. However, it looks like a precursor to the rebellion lego, so it might be a Jedi logo from before the purge. A shame it was not used on the Jedi starfighters in Episode II. So is this a "Jedi" logo? Maybe.

The official site used to use this as the logo for the Sith. I have to wonder if a secret society such as the sith would even have a logo.

Alternate sith logo. From http://starwars.wikicities.com/wiki/Sith, this appears to be a logo from the old Sith Empire. I don't know if it's cannon or not.

Separatists, or more specifically, the Confederation of Independent Systems. Odd that this logo was not seen on the separatist forces in Episode II.

Seen on Episode III Jedi fighters and Republic Star Destroyers. Anyone care to take a guess on this one? I say it's the logo for Republic Space Forces.

Erik, I dont have a logo for the clone army, but i thought they had some insignia on their uniforms or something. I havent been able to find any pictures and havent loaded up my dvds to check the movies themselves.

I've come across the sith one you posted, unfortunatly its more rectangular shape doesnt fit in with the rest of them, so i was hoping for something more like the alternate sith picture you posted.

Thats the same logo i've found for the seperatists (Confederacy of Independent Systems) seperatists is just easier to say/type

The republic space forces sounds good for that last one.

obviously the emperial logo and rebel logo are pretty well known so they dont need mentioning...if i get some time ill try and post all the logo's i've found and what they were refered to.

There's an interesting alteration on the sith logo that I came across:

This was a variation on the Target exclusive Episode III Clone Trooper. Rebelscum referred to this logo (the one on the left) as a "Sith Logo". You can see it looks like the sith logo I posted above, only rotated and copied onto itself.

You know of the rebellion against the Empire?

Neither...I actually go to CITY college in downtown san diego, right by the trolley.

I updated my post with my collection of logos, think that's all i have (minus the 'variations' of the above, just stuff like color changes, mainly inverse of the images you see) I wasnt looking for the best quality as ill probably recreate them (ie have someone recreate them for me in better quality) after I get ones im happy with for each of the groups I listed above.

I did pass up on a few while i was searching, they were mainly stuff along the lines of the Corellian Security Force one (stuff from the EU) and weren't what i was looking for so i just grabbed the ones i thought i could use.

That prequel design from two posts up isn't really an official symbol per se, but a design element found on Amidala's dresses and many of the Naboo tapestrys. I'd say it is a design showing Naboo royalty.
