Just an update. I know everyone here seems to agree that it's just a comic, and nothing to be worried about, and, for the most part, I agree with them. But that hasn't stopped it from being big here. The issue was on the local news yesterday, provincial news yesterday, the newspaper today, local conservative talk radio yesterday and today, and the former editor has been interviewed by the CBC for a national story.

And that's just mainstream media. Countless bloggers have quipped about it, and blogs have sprung up both in defense of the comic and calling for the boycott of the Sheaf and all its advertisers. It's crazy. Many of those blogs were mentioned on the radio this morning by a caller (after the host, John Gormley had to explain to listeners what a "blog" was).
