Thank you to Jambe Davdar for making this fascinating documentry and improving on it with this second version and thank you to meedermow for sending it to me, there isnt really alot to be said that hasnt already been said about this great disk but it is really is an interesting and well put together mix of commentry and behind the scenes footge etc about the TESB and is a great companion though different to Deleted Magic etc.

I am willing to pif to anyone,I am gonna be sending one to Number20 and have another couple burnt at the moment ready to send to anyone that is interested so just give a pm.

Has anyone got V1.1 and V1.2 of this title??

DEC 2005 - UPDATE - Version 1.0 is finished
JAN 2006 - UPDATE - Version 1.1, Spelling mistakes corrected (thanks oojason)
JAN 2006 - UPDATE - Version 1.2, Now 16:9 Anamorphic (aspect ration problem corrected)


Firstly, I would like to see the evolution to the FINAL release but also I would like to log the differing releases here so that people will be able to work out what version they have.

V1.0 is already sorted - Thanks for that.

The disc JD sent me did not read in the drive on my work's PC (showed up as blank), however it did work on my home PC. Try your disc on another player or drive if you can.

I watched the first 10 minutes and I'm very impressed.

Just Got Mine!!! This final version was amazing. Everyway an equal to Deleted Magic. I thought I knew everything about the Empire Strikes Back. I thought wrong. The menus were beautiful but simple. The bonus features were great. Nice to see extras that aren't just like every other disc. Well done Jambe. Nine point two stars.

Hi all,

and a big heads up to JD. Watched this the other day (courtesy of meerdewow, cheers), sorry its taken me so long to chime in. For someone like me who's been around as long as SW, and as all the makings of, and more recently (thanks to this site and myspleen) all sorts of other trivia and SW-related programmes, its still amazing when a piece like this comes along and shows you something you hadn't seen before.

This is why I work on my ...'Revealed' projects. I mean, how many times can you get excited about another transfer, or the Super Ulitmate Edition v13.9 of a film you've seen a hundred times already? So movies like this are a breath of freash air. Very professionally done and presented. 10 out of 10.

On a side note, for those who picked up on the fact the the full size Falcon model was built in the tiny town of Pembroke Dock, Wales...well, that's where I live, and up until 9 months ago lived only a stones throw from that very site

Hello all from a far flung land.

Just managed to log on a read some of the latest comments. Sorry to hear that several of you have a had disc problems. Perhaps my burner is playing up again or perhaps it's the brand of disc. Though I've not had any problems with them in the past - hence picking them for this project.

Thanks for all your kind words - I'm so glad people are continuing to find this interesting and entertaining.

First of all, for those of your who live in NTSC land and don't have a multi-region
player capable of playing/converting PAL discs, you may already have another
option you are not aware of...

NTSC Xbox's WILL play PAL discs and convert them for NTSC output on your TV,
so longer as the DVD is a region free disc (i.e. Region 0). This obviously isn't
something that Microsoft advertises about the Xbox, but it does work, and
does a beautiful job of it at that! Also, this is the original Xbox I'm talking
about, not the Xbox 360 (which might work the same way, but since I don't
have one yet, I cannot personally check it out).

And now that that tidbit it over with, is there anyone here in the United States
(or elsewhere) that would be able to PIF a copy my way? (I'm in the Los Angeles
area). I already have a few folks lined up that I myself would be PIF-ing this
to afterwards, but I would also be able to provide a few additional copies here
as well. (Although this is only my second post here on the board, I've been
lurking around for many months; but please feel free to check out my ratio/stats
over at myspleen.net under "baronbrain", which should show you that I'm a man
of my word when I say I'll PIF, and not just a leech.).

Please PM me if you are U.S. local and able to do this...

I received "Building Empire" today. I have to say that the menus, menu transitions and the extras are all great. I have yet to watch the actual documentary, but I will watch it tomorrow morning. The disc is much more professional-looking than the original version you made (I think it was 1.0 you sent me). Anyway, thanks again for this great disc!
