yeah i was a bit disappointed that the blue hands guys didn't come up in the movie at all. i thought that'd be one of the story lines the movie would complete. same for Book: they implied a couple of times that he wasn't what he seemed (like when he is wounded and the alliance ship takes him to be cured) but nothing was said about that in 'serenity'.

haven't read the comics yet, but i really want to!
