I am re-working my "FANCY" covers, and... Jedi stinks! There is no good comparable art to use. SW and ESB look pretty good... ROTJ looks good, but does not fit well. Any ideas?

Right now it's the holiday special but I'm trying to rework both the prequel boxset and the original trilogy boxset to have 20 discs of content which probably won't be done for a while. I'm still not sure what discs to use for extras.

But I was going to go to tosche station to pick up some power converters!

Jedi's posters are mostly crap, no getting around that. =)

You and I had the exact same problem during Classic Edition really .... the released poster is great, but there aren't any good "cast montage" type paintings apart from that, they're all pretty poor.

The saber poster I never liked, but I like how you use it here for what it's worth.

This is the best "saber" cover I've seen, certainly.

The blood poster with Luke and Vader is good for what it is ... but maybe you can come up with a clever way of using the released poster in a way that's different? The "blood red" take on it that you wound up doing for Classic Edition worked. Anyway.

Don't worry about it.

I'd like to also see a version of Empire with that poster you used before, with Han and Yoda and all that. I think I scanned that one in my directory ...

Can we see larger versions of these? I'd be curious to have a close look at how the images are coming off.

I AM OF THE SAME OPINION. THE SABER POSTER WAS ALWAYS MY FAVORITE.

In order to match the other two, I would use this poster, but maybe replace Luke's Monkey face with a better image using Photoshop. Leia's looking abit ugly in it too.:

No Doubt! I have always liked the saber poster. It is my favorite of all Jedi posters.... simply because of the few we had to choose from. I love the released poster, but I was wanting something completely different for this set and that one is WAY overused due to lack of options. I am manipulating that poster to see what I can come up with. Looks promising.... different anyway.

I liked that one OK... but with the larger scan of the one that you used for Classic Empire was IDEAL. (Thanks for those BTW!!!) I wanted to re-work this set because of your scans were better than what I had before. I enlarged Luke a bit to help it out a bit.

That one is OK.... but the art just does not do anything for me. It looks like a concept piece that never really got completed by the real artist. It just looks forced. ....if that makes sense.

Ell the Ewok used this one and the rest in the series to pretty good effect on an inksaver collection he did by manipulating the position of the images.

Just a suggestion.

I'm a big fan of adding text to the back of the covers. Don't have to go all out with the text, could just be the opening scrawls.

OK tinkered a bit more with this Saga 10 disk box (apologies to original artist!) I've now added the older OB1 and Anakin it's still a bit rough but hope you get the general idea..

The edges around Han seem 'harder'. not sure if thats the word, but it to me its somewhat noticeable that the image was a cut and past...i have no photoshop skills so i wouldnt know how to do this, but if you could soften the edge i think it would seem more natural.
