I'm seeding EditDroid ESB at 40 KB/s, so you should be getting SOMETHING, I hope.

Alas, I too am trying to get RotJ, without much luck.

I've noticed that
Video Manager Menu Cell Address Table (VMGM_C_ADT) and
Video Manager Menu VOBU Address Map (VMGM_VOBU_ADMAP)
are missing from the .IFO files seeded by Metallaxis.

I'm wondering if he might have used some application software to "rip" the files
rather than simply copying them with native OS commands.

The .IFOs posted by segaflip are different, and do contain VMGM_C_ADT and VMGM_VOBU_ADMAP.

arcadayn, here's something you might like to try:
Keep the .VOB files from Metallaxis (they're identical to segaflip's)
while replacing the .IFO & .BUP files with the ones segaflip posted.

Where to get them ?

I recently had a similar problem with burning a DVD. I used a program called PgcEdit and it popped up with some errors and asked me if I wanted to fix them. I clicked yes, saved it, and was able to burn it without problems.

I've been downloading OCPMovie's ESB, did well until it got to 99.7% but has just been stuck at that for 4 days! Is there something wrong? Says it has 20 seeds. Ratio's up to 0.568

I had the very same problem, till I had a closer look on the files. If you remove the file VIDEO.TS (22kb) from the folder, everything is rocking! Then burn it again and hopefully it plays everywhere! I don't know why that works, but it does...:-)

Hope I could help!

Doh! Restarted Azureus (had been running for days) and it fixed the problem, it started downloading immediately and finished.

Thanks, all done. Now I am seeding Star Wars & Empire. Jedi is not moving at all. Any seeders for Return of the Jedi EditDroid version?

I got you. Also although this isn't Star Wars, could anybody seed DF003 The Making of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. There have been no seeders for like a month.

Thanks to everyone for their suggestions. Unfortunately, disc space is tight right now so I had to delete OCP ESB from my hard drive. I still have the dvd copy. Can I just copy it back to my hard drive and replace/delete the files? Also, if I can put it back on my hard drive I will seed them for My Spleen once I clear my drives up a bit.

Also, I'm downloading Editdroid's ESB right now. Only getting like 16kbs, but it's better than the 2 or 3kbs I was getting for Cowclops.

Lucky you! I have a 12GB limit. Which means I can barely download 1 DVD a month (because the rest of my family downloads stuff too).

It should work if you just copy the files back to your harddrive. Then delete (or just relocate) the file I told you, and then everything should be groovy! Hope that works, because that is sweet disc!

Hey guys, sorry, but I'm going to have to stop seeding for a while. I'm heading out of town for a week and a half and don't think it's a wise idea to leave the computer on that whole time. I'll try to resume seeding when I get back!

Just for your information: I just copy-pasted the contents of the discs.
What you get is an exact copy of the files that ocp sent to me in DVD's.
My DVD's work perfectly and so should the a disc burned with the exact content.
If nero gives you trouble under "DVD video" mode, you can always burn the disc as a data disc, it will still work just fine....
Anyway, thanks to Darth Mallwalker for giving another option to people having trouble with these releases...
And now, for your feature presentation:

In this version the word "WOOKIE" has been changed to "HAIR CHALLENGED ANIMAL" and the entire cast has been digitally replaced by Ewoks.

Thanks for the clarification Metallaxis. It's comforting to know you've done a straight copy/paste without using some ripping app.

Still it seems odd to me that files ocpmovie sent you are different than files he sent segaflip, and different again to the files sent to MoveAlong.
Seems like at Orange Cow Productions "NTSC" means Never Twice the Same Checksum.

I'm curious to know which files are newest.
Too bad BitTorrent doesn't preserve dates and times of files -- IMO a shortcoming of the BT protocol.
Near as I can tell (considering time zones) segaflip's .IFO files are dated 2005-10-11 11:34 GMT.
Metallaxis, would you share with us the date/times of .IFO files on your original disc? Are they older or newer ?

However, in practice you must take into account the “fuckwit factor”. Just talk to Darth Mallwalker…

First thing I found out doing a background check on my DVDs is that I did not actually get ESB CE from ocpmovie.
I had ocpmovie send me ANH and ROTJ and forgot that the one who sent me ESB CE was Rikter.
So if you want to track the origin of the disc, you have to ask Rikter about it.
Nevertheless, the dates on the disc are still preserved (the dates are the ones when the files were created,
not the ones when the disk was written, and proof of that is the fact that the dates are prior to the date I sent Rik an e-mail asking him for the disc.
Anyway, here's the date on my DVD files: 2005 - Dec - 14 1:23am local time
(can't do the math about GMT time cause I don't know the time zone where the creator of these files lives.
If Rik or a prior link used a riping software to get the files, then the date is not the correct one.
If every link just did a copy-paste or a disc-copy, then this is the creation date, and knowing that ocp lives in GMT-8, the corret date is 2005-12-14 9:23am GMT).

Hm, I noticed the same problem and the disc only played on the computer just fine. Like I said, if you delete that one 22kb file (video) and only burn the rest, everything works fine...

Yeah, I paid OCP $30 for the three Classic Editions and the discs wont work in my playstation2 or home theater JVC dvd player. It works fine on the computer....but I dont want to sit at my desk and watch a whole movie. I gave them away. It sort of ticked me off that I paid a pretty penny for a "somewhat defective" set of discs.

The only reason I am not still PO'd is that Sluggo sent me a new set that worked 100% fine, free of charge, for participating in his Valentines Day contest. If you're reading this Sluggo...YOU ROCK MY SOCKS!

Now I am able to watch the CE's and enjoy them the way they were meant to be experienced.

Offer:
When ocpmovie sent me ROTJ CE, he enclosed a SL and a DL disk.
However, the DL disk I got was totaly unreadable in one part (VTS_01_3.VOB)
So I asked him if he could send me another disc containing the file I was missing.

OCP was kind enough to send me 2 fully functional DL disks intead of a SL disk with the file I was missing.
The first one (RiDATA) plays perfectly.
The other (Verbadim) plays on both my DVD players (Pioneer, and a no-name one),
and is completely readable using my Samsung DVD-rom, but my NEC DVD R/RW drive cannot read it.
Having a spare DL disk, I thought I'd send it for free to whoever wants it.
So, In conclusion: I will send this Verbadim DL ROTJ CE disk to the first to ask it and give me his address.
Please send me your address over pm, but leave a post here to, so that others may know that the offer has closed.
