Anyone ever seen this? It was like a 10 hour mini-series around 1999-2000. The general concensus was too long for tv, great on dvd at your leisure. Just ordered it from Amazon and wanted to get someone else's take on it.

The 10th Kingdom = sweet as hell.

That was my assumption as well though i'd never before heard of it referred to as 'HG2G'

I have the 10th Kingdom on DVD. It definitely fits well into the fractured fairy tale genre that includes The Princess Bride and Ella Enchanted. Kimberly Williams sunk so low after this.

I'll have to rent it sometime as I've never seen it and was always curious. And speaking of such, anyone caught the promo spots for Sci-Fi Network's 'Dark Kingdom: The Dragon King'? Looks interesting.

Dark Kingdom looks interesting, but then I tell myself we're talking about the network that cancelled MST3K and thinks cheesy CGI is always a substitute for good story. I'm wary, but I'll watch.

I will warn that some of the CG in 10th Kingdom is cheesy, but not to the extent that it gets in the way of the story.
