Help: looking for... 'R. Tam sessions' preservation (in high quality)

Have there been any high quality versions of these clips released anywhere? All I have been able to find are medium resolution versions.

I dont think they have, I looked here and they don't mention it and I think if anyone would know they would. The highest resolution (and only) versions are the 640x480 quicktime files.

Yeah, that's what I thought.

BTW, I remember reading rumors that a Serenity special edition DVD might include them in the special features.

The UK and Oz versions already have more stuff than the US version. They should have included the R.Tam sessions. There was also a Sci-Fi channel special called 'Inside Serenity' which would have been a nice addition.

Hmmm, 640x480. My files are 400x300. I'll have to check the links again. I downloaded the website, which included the original and the new design.

where have i been all this time ?

The studios don't know shit about making good DVDs, unfortunately.

sorry, I meant 320x240, you have files at 400x300? if so those are the highest res I know of.

I've never heard of these "sessions" but I am a Firefly/Serenity fan. I own the 2-disc Serenity DVD and I love it. However, the USA loves to do double-dips (much more than here in Australia), so rest assured, you'll probably get a 2-disc or 3-disc Serenity DVD in November/December this year with more stuff than the Australian one. Still, in the meantime you could compile your own disc of stuff not included on any of the official releases.

I've got a few bits I'm hoping to put together as extra fetures if I ever do a serenity edit, just bits and pieces that were missing from the firefly and serenity dvds.

If anyone else hasn't seen them and wants to, go here.
