So, apart from having a 35mm print, would 'Raiders' sourced from the original laserdisc synched with the audio from the DVD be the closest thing to the original theatrical run?

No. Didn't you complain that it wasn't the right sound mix?

My god. I think we're testing how anal people can be with this.

Aw, c'mon. Why'd you have to say a thing like that?

Look, this all started over the here statement that 'Raiders' wasn't changed (for lack of a better word) from it's original theatrical exhibition.

I put forth the suggestion that digitally-removing elements of the film which existed from the original print up to the DVD was, in fact, changing it, despite the fact that they were changes which did not alter the content of the film. I stand by that.

Why don't you and Neil just tell me to fuck off already...

Cause we like you too much
I didn't mean to insult you with the "anal" comment. I guess that if, since we're using Star Wars as an example, they had just cleaned some stuff up in SW, would anyone really be complaining? That's all they did with Indy. But because there were severe changes to all 3 of the OT, here we are. However, if they got the same treatment Indy got, I don't think any of us would be complaining. See what I'm saying?
