Thanks to Dark Jedi, I've now added screenshots of the Dark/Sega JSC transfer to my comparison page.

The Japanese discs seem to have much more detail in dark areas (see shots 3, 5 and 6). It's a shame about the colour deterioration evidenced in shot 4.
