I'm not putting a bid in until I have some kind of tangible evidence of this thing. I can't believe these guys in Argentina/wherever who are already claiming to be willing to pay well over $300 for the shadiest auction item I've seen in a long time. Are they really that naive?

I'll be extremely irritated if it DOES turn out to be real and one of these other guys pays some ridiculous price for it and gets it, then sits on it and lets it gather dust in his "private collection", never answering any queries about it or getting in touch with anyone. That would be typical.

Not too long ago I sold my PSP on Ebay to fund an Xbox 360.

I was contacted by at least 3 people in Argentina, all of whom wanted to wire me cash but needed my home address first, and asked some very, very personal questions.

One guy really tried to pressure me into a quick sale, and for some reason a red flag went up in my head. Three people from Argentina, all of them with similar questions and offers?

They are to Ebay what Nigerian land owners are to email.
