I really would like a cover for the whole trilogy! for a "big box"

What is that font, if you don't mind me asking? I want to put the text onto the back of another one of Coov's covers for ROTJ.

I used to be very active on this forum. I’m not really anymore. Sometimes, people still want to get in touch with me about something, and that is great! If that describes you, please email me at [my username]ATgmailDOTcom.

Hi everybody. You’re all awesome. Keep up the good work.

I think it's Adobe Caslon or Big Caslon, which was the Deleted Magic font.

Nice job Alex! My preferred version would basically be that.

If I have time, I might redo that same cover with the scans from the cover book, but that'll do nicely.

Too busy with other stuff.

Oh, here are two versions of the disc art.

Mailed out TWENTY-ONE packages today. I'll just say it - this has been a huge undertaking, mailing these out - the phrase "Hell in a handbasket" comes to mind. I'm swamped. Some of you have been waiting a month, two months for your copies - I'm really sorry. I'm normally very quick with these, but there have been so many orders that I haven't been able to just copy any DVDs apart from the Classic Editions themselves. I'm busy enough just fulfilling the orders for the Classic Editions!

I thank you for your patience. I'm as frustrated as you are, and your discs will be with you soon.

The things I do for this forum .... =)

Would somebody be able send me a copy of this please. I am going to use it as the source for my Returning to Jedi project.

Thanks

also looking forward to listening to the isolated score. does that play over silent footage?

are there any differances in quantity or more risk of glitching between layers? I once commisioned another friend to rip my RotJ VHS tape to DVD, but it became glitching and unwatchable after a short while. what's the safest bet for someone who is not 100% sure about their DVD player's capabilities?

Is their any chance of adding the dvd commentary tracks to these classic versions at a later date, that would make them perfect imo.

The 2004 commentaries suck.

There is a commentary for Star Wars which I created myself which is very good.

For the others, I didn't bother.

The best "commentary" you're ever gonna get for Empire is Jamie Benning's lovely scholarly disc Building Empire, which was at one point called Empire "Audio/Video Commentary." His documentary has some commentary and teaches you a lot. Who needs a traditional commentary .... if you want the 2004 commentaries, watch them on the 2004 discs I guess ...

Ohh, the current edit I'm doing (have done?) is about 10000 times more complicated. But it's not Star Wars. Heh.

I have tricks up my sleeves yet.

It's an edit of a film called The Thief and the Cobbler and you can read about it in forum 11.

Hey OCP,

I was at a convention over the weekend in Orlando called "MegaCon". I was surprised to see EVERY bootleg DVD dealer (about 12 individuals) were all selling stacks of "Deleted Magic", asking between $15 and $20 each, none of which had the official cover. I was surprised to see it. Just thought you'd like to know how far your influence has stretched. LOL!
