Saving Star Wars

Anybody ever heard of this film, Saving Star Wars, that actually featured David Prowse? I've never heard of it and I don't recall seeing anything about it in the forum thus far. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Has anybody seen it? Any good? Is it downloadable, meaning is it a short fan film on Atom or the like?

Here's the official site with many infos.
Apparently, it exists on DVD so, I guess it's not downloadable (legally).
I've not seen it, but it sounds very interesting!

Funny how the film portrays stealing a prequel script as a bad thing.

If I made a film of the same name, the plot would go something like this:

- A commando is sent back in time on a special secret mission - to prevent the prequels from ever being made.
- The commando goes back in time, fighting his way through armies of yes-men to reach the diabolical stronghold known only as "The Ranch".
- An epic battle takes place between the commando and George Lucas until finally the commando executes his deadly ninja-move, rendering Lucas mute and handless.
- Alternative ending: the two combatants put down their weapons as they discuss what made the Original Trilogy so phenomenal in the first place. Lucas agrees to burn his working draft of "The Phantom Menace" and starts again, employing the help of Kurtz, Kershner, and Kasdan to create a new script.
- The Star Wars Universe is safe once again.

We are all geeks. As someone here once said, you wouldn't have even signed up here if you weren't a geek.

Yeah, I know, but it's not always in my mind, you know? Like if I'm singing with a rock band at a local pub, I'm not really in 'geek mode' as it were, and noone coming to see me would suspect it at all. It's just times when I talk about this kinda stuff (or if I'm playing laser-tag/videogames) that I really know I am a geek.

Rest assured, it is a part of me that will always be there, I will always treasure, and I will never be ashamed of it. It's fun letting the inner geek to come out and play every now and then.
