Honestly, I'd have to say that this was one of the two times where I think the movie was superior to the book (the other was "Secret Window", but that's another topic). I dunno, the ending just seemed kinda anti-climactic.

But nothing against Peter Benchley. He's still awesome.

He actually has a cameo as a news anchor on a beach in the movie of Jaws, by the way. Thought you guys would be interested to know that.

By the way, Adam, you say "I didn't think the film adaptation was that great" like you've read the book already. What the hell?
