This might be from Bernd Doetzer's cut of Star Wars. He is from Germany and is doing (done) his own cut of episode 4 but won't release to the public. You can download trailers from his site though. I can't remember the website address off hand.

I remember that clip. That is from a fan trailer back in 2000 for AOTC. I remember it because I was 11 and stupid, and though that actually might be one.

I'm pretty sure that is a shot taken from the 1984 version of Dune. The twin suns being digitally added by someone else.

Where were you in '77?

You're right Silverwook - I just put in my Dune DVD and that shot is one of those used in the main menu (and is therefore probably in the film, but it's not in the main titles).

I know, I was sooo going to say it looked more like a shot from Dune than SW, but I thought I'd get laughed at. Nice to see my instincts were right.

(Now, I gotta get me a Dune DVD. )

Yes, I took it from A Question of Faith, but the music is originally from a real movie. In the credits, there are several movies listed:
