I like it, Trooperman! Great job! I vote for option #1. But that's just my personal favorite. The teal one is interesting, but ultimately, I think it's a little off (seems weird). People may wonder why you changed his color from purple to teal.

And I'm not seeing any inconsistency with the fluctuations. I think it looks good.
