Your father left because your mother was pregnant with you and he wanted to save her from dying in childbirth. I know it doesn't make sense, Luke, but I'm the one telling the story here. Turns out she died in childbirth anyway. We wanted to keep you safe as long as possible, and Bail Organa really wanted a kid, so I dropped you off with your Uncle Owen on Tatooine--boy was he surprised!--and Bail took Leia to live on Alderaan.

Hold on a sec. That quote is almost completely accurate! Where you get it at?

Wait for another 20 years until 2027 and if GL hasn't shuffled off his mortal coil Ewan and Hayden would be about the right age for.... No I don't even want to go there.

I saw were that was going lol, I know i'm gonna get bashed for this but i always thought it would be cool if in ROTJ luke and the emperor had a lightsaber duelright before the whole lightning thing. And replace all ewoks with Wookies or jsut make the Ewoks more mean

That's a good question. Luke didn't want to fight his father but why wouldn't he try to block the emporor's lightning with his lightsaber? I don't think it was because Luke knew the prophecy said only the chosen one could bring balence to the force.

As for future changes, well it's obvious what should happen to the Greedo scene. I have compiled the 3 best proposed ideas. NOT!
Bro hug (Mad Magazine did this in their "Day in the Life of George Lucas" feature. It was the cover that had Obi Wan & Anakin shocked to see Alfred E Neuman as Palpatine)
Greedo's shot hits the wall, bounces back and hits him. Han doesn't shoot.
They settle it with rock, paper, scissors.

If Gl is gonna keep Greedo shooting first then he must get someone to dress up in Greedo suit and film greedo shooting like have the camera facing Greedo then jsut continue the film to where Han shoots. That the only way i'd ever accept that stupid change

Im curious to find out what changes he is gonna make to the Prequels in 2007, I know Yoda is going digital but wonder what else will happen....................

Well, I don't think Luke knew there was lightning to worry about until it actually happened. And he'd obviously already thrown his lightsaber away before it happened. I doubt he could concentrate enough to bring it to him as he was getting fried, and it probably wouldn't have done any good by that point anyway.

Whatever they are, I'm never going to find out about them unless I read about them here.

Ya that the supposed list of stuff that will be on the archival boxset, except your lsit doesn't contain the OT extra disc which is very similiar to the 04 extra dvd

Thats fake, that was doing the rounds on IMDB a year ago, the guy who did (tony707) it was proved to be a liar, someone at IMDB took that list to T.F.n and they concluded it was fake.

Even if it's fake, I still think it's cool. I left out the part about the bonus disc because i thought it was the same one.

It's been a while since I've read that list, but, ugh, that's most nauseating piece of swill I've read in quite a while. It seems that some of Star Wars's fans have even worse ideas than Lucas himself, and I previously didn't believe it was possible.

Good to know Adam doesn't molest ladders.

Makes you wonder what he does molest if he has to be explicit about the fact that he doesn't molest ladders.
