I've always wanted to see Lucasfilm release complete, untouched season set DVDs of the Droids and Ewoks series. Hopefully they will one day...

But in the mean time, I wish someone would attrempt a preservation project on these. Some kid (Codester) back during the summer was going to, but he seems to have disappeared for now. He was apparently planning to use the VHS tapes and DVDs, etc for the release.

There's currently someone (xianxian) who's "offering" (if you see what I mean) the upload of the entire show, on DVD and in good quality, on myspleen. Let's hope that his upload will be accepted...

Yep, xianxian's (on myspleen) project sounds really good!
Please go to his thread or on the "Want to upload something?" thread if you want the Ewoks DVDs. It will surely help the accept of the upload.

Cool. This guy's making sure he produces quality DVDs. Not something I can say for all of the other Droid/Ewoks bootlegs I've seen.

I ran across a guy a while back who had these excellent covers he had made for the Droids and Ewoks series (he was an expert in design). So, I bought a copy from him just for the covers (although the actual quality of the episodes was obviously crappy). I emailed him later, asking if he would send me the cover files if I paypalled him, but he refused to sell them.
