No matter the religion, I find it pathetic that people would react so violently and irrationally over someone's opinion. Why should they be the ones who have to learn tolerance? Shouldn't we also be tolerant of others' beliefs? Tolerance doesn't really work unless everyone is tolerant, and these cartoons don't go very far towards showing tolerance and respect for Islam. Besides, free speech isn't really free and never has been. Those cartoons, in another light, could be viewed as hate speech, and in cases where our free speech causes harm to another's culture, I feel it should be limited.
