i was at o'hare airport and sat next to this fat-ish dude at the bar while waiting for a flight. we started chatting up about movies, of course, and all the while i notice he looks a ton like sean penn. well, we're sitting there having a great time, drinking beer and i ask him if he wants to smoke. he comes outside with me and when he lit his cigarette, that's where i recognized him. fucking chris penn. i'm having a cigarette and just finished a round of beers with mr. nice guy eddie himself! so we finish smoking and head back inside to drink a couple more beers before we have to head our seperate ways. finally, i can't resist. i ask him, how was it working with keitel. he asks me how i knew who he was and i said to him, dude, your chris penn. how can i NOT recognize you. he says keitel was an ass, but madsen was the coolest motherfucker (exact words). so we exchanged emails and went our seperate ways. awesome guy. very down to earth. very sad that he died so young.
