These Razzie people deserve a RazZie award for Being Morons, and complete jokes that are no good.

Somebody should seriously slap the shit out of them Because Sith was the best film of 2005.

Is this a joke?

I suspect Hayden was nominated because they couldn't find a Josh Hartnett movie to watch.

Natalie Portman is an AMAZING Actress! Just as Hayden is a very good actor. I'm sure if you put them together is any other film with any other scriptwriter & director, they'd both be brilliant. But as comedian Frank DeCaro said when AOTC came out, "Those two couldn't have less chemistry if they were in seperate movies."

This I blame on The Almighty Luc-a$$

[drool] And who wouldn't have nominated her after the scenes of her at work. [/drool]

But seriously... I haven't seen Hayden in anything other than SW but I honestly believe he probably can act. Portman was acting rings around the PT in 'Leon' when she was, what, 10 years old or something? Almost everyone cast in the PT were decent to great actors- that point alone shows that a good director makes or breaks a film.

That sounds like a stewie from family guy response, Zebonka. But yea, Hayden really isn't THAT bad, I saw Life as House, he was a whiny teen in that, but it wasn't as bad as AOTC. I actually like that, even though it was a little too feel-good for my tastes.

Hah. That's funny. Did you make that one up because it's great, with the $ signs and the way you've turned it into ass. Heh, pure genius.

I'm not really one to get into pissing contests on forums, but I have to say this:

My way of spelling Luc-a$$' name is a bit more original than your comment about it. Seriously, what were you trying to accomplish by making that comment?

Has anyone seen The Virgin Suicides? It has both Hartnett AND Christensen. Actually a really good film, though. Christensen is only a bit part in 3 different scenes, and he's pretty young too.

Every Razzie nomination deserved it really, but I thought that GL should have got one for Worst Director, easily. If anyone doubted it after EPII, they were just kidding themselves - Lucas is a poor director, we're just lucky that ANH turned out so brilliantly.

HC is the supporting actor because he's not the big name on the bill - Ewan McGregor and Ian McDiarmid is. That's why GL tried to get Ian nominated for Best Actor at the Academy Awards. I'm not sure how much screen time Anakin and Obi get in EPIII, but that might also have a bit to do with it.

Yeah, I love that movie. And Hayden has one of the classic lines: "Don't let it die a virgin!" Fun movie. Fun, fun movie. Oh, yeah, except for everyone killing themselves. But the music was good.

Not that that is going to stop you from dreaming… Only in this case, Gaffer is actually a guy.

American Graffiti was brilliant too. What did those two films have in common other than GL?

I explain THX-1138 as a film that I enjoyed much better when it was just a book called 1984 by George Orwell.

Seriously, the ONLY time I ever watch THX-1138 is when I have the world's worst case of insomnia. 15 minutes into it, and I'm out like a light.

i used to like it when i was a kid, but after seeing it recently i thought it was boring too, and seemed more like how the prequels were

I myself saw it recently. I was BLOWN AWAY by it. Although, as Scotty Balls pointed out, it ripped off Brave New World and 1984. Then again, The Island ripped off THX-1138 and Blade Runner. And ANH ripped of COUNTLESS films.

I couldn't finish the movie. I rented THX-1138 about a week ago and I only made it half way through the movie. Namely, I was bored, and for the parts that I weren't bored with I was creeped out. I'm sorry, but scene where 1138 jerks-off to that nude girl dancing...god *shiver*. This is from the man that made Star Wars? WTF?! Not to mention the fact that you see bloody bodies being taken away at the begining of the movie. And Lucas thinks that Han shooting first is too violent. *rolls eyes*

I just...couldn't finish watching. It was a horrible, horrible movie.

It was Lucas' only "serious" film, IMHO.

And I thought it was cool to see THX being jerked off by a computer to a fantasy girl.
