Should I use DVD-R? Is there a better MAC program that will burn it in a more accessible format? It did work on a friend's DVD player but there was nothing special about his unit, its a few year old basic. The wide screen was also clipped on the corners too, was that how it comes?
Sorry I need the training wheels...any help anyone can provide would be much appreciated.

I've always been told to use DVD-R's. Never had any problems with them myself, unless there was a problem with the burn itself.
What do you mean by clipped corners? You mean like overscan? Because that's independent of the DVD itself. Or do you mean something different entirely?
