I'd like to tackle Dune some day, but right now I've got my hands full with trying to work in Larry Niven's Ringworld in between school work (not to mention several other books).

Political intrigue is hard to write. Some authors have the knack, some don't, but I say Godspeed to anyone who at least attempts it.
