I saw it this weekend. While it is a very powerful film, very well written and directed, and with the 1970s setting dead-on, I feel that Spielberg cheated a bit by making a powerful film using mostly gore and gun violence to shock... Maybe that was his intention, to show the violence in order to make a point of how horrible it was - kind in the way Scorcese or Tarantino did.

Also, that movie pretty much shows up what I've been saying on the political threads. When each side resort to violence, each side is a terrorist.
