My wife will watch a game or two, and she's a big Green Bay fan, but if I turn a game on she'll find something to do. She used to play a LOT of sports in high school and college (cross country, softball, basketball), whereas I was a basketball nut, so she can appreciate my feelings about it.

MY WIFE IS ALWAYS SAYING, "YOU'RE GONNA WATCH ANOTHER GAME ???"

We have 3 tvs, so I usually will go somewhere else in the house and watch a game. However, a few weeks ago I put my foot down and said "I'm watching the game in the LIVING ROOM this week. Go upstairs if you don't like it". So, I took out the snacks, opened a couple of cans of soda, started a fire, crashed on the couch to watch the game. Was a little bit sweeter having asserted my rights...

Neither my wife or I are sports fans (though we do go to "Superbowl parties".). Maybe that's why our marriage is bereft of problems?

My wife is a huge Vikings fan, watches the games whenever possible, and screams like a psycho at the TV. I'm bored to death by sports and disappear into my office when she's watching a game.

Then there's the "Hey, My husband just picked up, and very deliberately thumbed through a book to get to a certain page, now he's being intensely studious about it. He must want me to blab in his ear for the next 25 minutes non-stop".

OK...this has officially become the b#tch about your spouse thread...

Wait untill the 'World Cup' starts in the UK - and around the 'World' of corse. Apart from you guys in the States that is. Why fooball never cought on there I'll never understand? Not that I'm much of a footy fan, but I do like watching the world cup. Especially when Italy beat Englands ass, untill Italy get kicked that is, then it's "Come on England" Unless England are out first then it'll be "Champione"
It's hard supporting two sides!

But anyhow, there's gonna be plenty of pissed off and bored women aroun - June, July time.
So if your a single lad going on a holiday this year, make sure you go when the world cup's on.
It's a fact that most girls go on holiday around that time.
I wish I knew that when I was a little younger

I was in America during Euro 2004 and ended up driving 100 miles to pay $25 to watch the BBC coverage of England versus Portugal and to my wife's credit, she watched it with me and was pissed off when they lost (bloody ref must have been getting backhanders). It was the first game of footie she ever watched. I'm not really a big football fan but I do like watching a game, especially international games.

Like Ricardo said, don't even get me started on Mother in Laws. It was bad enough when I only had my own Mum to deal with.

My M-in-law is quite the piece of work. Even my wife can't stand her. I've gotten to the point where I make no effort to hide my disdain for her. Stuff like, when she shows up I say "Oh, gee, how....wonderful......to....see you....again". I predict my wife will not be speaking to her within 5 years. The relationship continues to deteriorate.
