Would anyone with a copy be willing to pay it forward to me? I'm willing to do the same.
Thank you!

And, I actually really like this, Shaw's eyes are still blue in the unmasking scene. OC pasted the eyebrows back on, but left the recolored eyes recolored. This, to me, is ideal. Was this an intentional decision?

My stance on revising fan edits.

Author

Nope. I never noticed the eye color had changed. So it's actually possible that some flicker of brown survives in the eyes at points in my edit. I'd have to check.

I don't mind that though.

I always thought that his eyes were naturally blue anyway. I didn't understand why ILM colored them if they were already blue to begin with.

I have Comcast, and the Newsgroups aren't good at all. They've capped the total amount you can download from newsgroups at something like 1 gig a month, far below a single DVD. As for suggested newgroup providers, there is a help thread about this on this site.

when downloading RotJ from my spleen, it says, not a valid torrent file. Any ideas?

I'm assuming you are a member of MYSPLEEN? If not, you will get an error.

yes I am a member. ESB works just fine.

? Here is what I get...

(global message) : This is not a valid torrent file. (Bad file path component: .DS_Store)

Please bear with me, I am new to all this.

OK, what you need to do is read the comments posted regarding this ERROR on the myspleen site.
Its all explained there. I had the same problem. Seems there are some MAC only files in the
torrent, which causes problems with some BT clients running on Windows machines.
I've been psersonally running the ABC client, but had to install the AZUREUS client to grab
the JEDI torrent.

OCP, I've got two questions left before I complete my OT CE collection:

1.) Is the DL version any different from the SL version posted on MySpleen? It seems like it has a buttload of special features already, and a comment that you made (assuming you're tygerbug) implies that they're the same thing. Did I misread it?

2.) What torrent... place... are the CE's going to be at if MySpleen goes under in 10 days? My computer's damn slow, and I don't know if I'll be able to finish ESB and download SE Hype and RotJ before that long.

The DL has a higher bitrate and the convenience of having all the dvd-rom extras on the same disc. The SL doesn't have the dvd-rom extras on the same disc. They were taken from the DL and are being offered as an add-on. Even though the SL has a lower bitrate, it is still of excellent quality. But, if you're wanting the dvd-rom extras on the same disc, go with the DL. You can get it directly from ocpmovie or download it from alt.binaries.starwars.

You can go about your business. Move along, move along.

Did anyone else's news server show massive drops in parts from 109 to 118? I know my ISP is lousy (I average 134 of 143 sections each file from MoveAlong. Typically even worse drops thanks to my ISP if I'm trying to go after a segaflip posting) but it seems odd that this one section would only carry between 2 and 8 sections total each rar file.

What he said.

I designed the disc as single layer so it looks nice that way, but I did keep and release the uncompressed dual layer original, for those who want to try and spot any difference in quality. =) Personally, I can't spot any at all. The DVD-ROM extras are fun. They were only supposed to be on the dual layer to fill up space, but Metallaxis included them in the Myspleen version. Go Metallaxis.
