The film desperately needs it. I don't care if someone is a Zimmer fan, that's fine and I'm sure they can find the subtlety of it. However, this is a comic book movie with larger than life villians and out of this world hereos. It needs a grandeous theme or atleast motif. Zimmer seems more as if he doesn't want the score to be a character, when the scores have been just as much a strong part of Superman: The Movie and Batman (89) as the actors were.

I'm not watching Memento. I'm watching a very well done superhero movie. Don't put me to sleep with the music, give me a theme that will get me up on the edge of my seat. Everytime John Williams did that 3 note intro to the main Superman title you knew Supes was about to appear on screen. You knew the hero was going to save the day. Zimmer's score of BB is just ambient noise.

If someone would add the themes from the previous Batman films into Batman Begins, I'd be all for it.
