Anime Los Angeles' Star Wars workshops

Next weekend, there's a small anime convention going on in Van Nuys. There will be two Star Wars related workshops. One where you can build your own lightsaber hilt, another where you can make a Jedi robe. So I thought I'd mention it for any locals who might be interested.

The website is http://www.animelosangeles.org/anime-la/2006/index.php.

Here's a link to the workshop info. http://www.animelosangeles.org/anime-la/2006/EventWork.php

Lightsabers have an optional fee of 10 dollars to get a bag of things to customize your hilt, including a belt clip. The four main parts at not provided, as these should be personally picked out.

Jedi robe naturally requires you provide your own fabric. 100% wool with a twill weave will bring the best results. I'm not sure on how the panel will go if you don't bring any. The Lightsaber has free handouts I know.

I just learned that I'm going. The panels will begin Sunday morning.

Sorry. I'm practically on the opposite side of the country. Sounds cool, though.

There is no lingerie in space…

Not that that is going to stop you from dreaming… Only in this case, Gaffer is actually a guy.

It's outside of Los Angeles, California.

Since I'm the only Californian currently posting, I'll see about uploading the parts list when I get it.
