I've been working on logo removal with Adobe After Effects. That logo can be removed, and I am going to apply the removal to this great presentation of the film. It’s a kind of blending of the background / foreground images that hides the logo from the naked eye.

Well most of the logo is in the black widescreen band so that shouldn't be too difficult to get rid of.
