I enjoyed the original movie tremendously. However, I lost interest in SG when it was on Showtime and they had Amanda Tapping's character beating up Ghengis Khan's warriors in hand-to-hand combat. Little to "PC" for me at the time. I've often wanted to try it out again. My point was that it seems like SG is ALL that SciFi shows at times.
