Here is a suggested method for achieving audio sync:

- Rip/demux the video off my DVD to one big M2V file using DVDDecrypter. Open this in VirtualDubMod.

- Open another instance of VirtualDubMod, and load the demuxed M2V from your VHS capture. Add the German WAV file as an audio stream. (I assume your VHS capture is in sync - well, as synced as possible for a different language dub! )

- Switching between the two, scan through the frames to identify points where the video streams differ. You will probably find that the VHS version is longer, as the laserdisc is missing a few frames at some points. In your VHS version, mark start and end points for the additional frames in VDubMod and press delete.

- Eventually both instances of VDubMod will contain a video with exactly the same number of frames. At this point, select your German audio stream and save as WAV. The saved WAV should be exactly in sync with the video from my DVD.

This is a fairly rough method of doing this, and if there are several frames cut in a row there may be an audible pop at the cut point.
