They're probably talking about Warriors of the Wind, the 1985 New World Pictures release I mentioned. The US Disney release is uncut. Only Laputa was rescored to fill in silence and to make it full symphony. It's on the dub track only. That's because it was dubbed at the same time they dubbed Kiki. They don't do that any more.
Babyhum, like I said, I am recording the TCM intros. THey're in SP S-VHS-ET format. I'm a huge anime fan, and know some good sites. If I see anything, I'll keep an eye out. I do have an episode of The Ghiblis if memory serves. Though I'm not sure if that's what you're looking for.
