confession time...

i hate tupac. i hate his music. i thought his "documentary" was a smidge above ok. his voice is like nails-on-a-chalkboard to me. i'm sad he died, but i'm more of a big pun fan myself.

i respect what tupac did for his community, but i don't respect the twofacedness. and his supporters can tell me that he did that to make more money, but in all honesty it really doesn't matter to me. there is supposed to be a sort of respectful relationship between artists. he was like a dirty fighter in a boxing ring constantly hitting below the belt and headbutting his opponent.

so yea, i don't like him.

EDIT: nothing against kev, btw. i just noticed his sig after i wrote this. not meant to be slander.

Except Elvis wasn't a violent drug-dealing 'gangsta' whose best tunes were samples of other people's music (normally white people's).

Having said that, it's not my cup of tea, but I can see the appeal. The only rappers I really dig are De La Soul and Eminem (his music, not his attitude)

The difference with Andy Kaufman is that faking his death is something Andy would actually do - in life he had alter egos and was always looking for the next way to dupe the public. Him faking his own death would be the ultimate practical joke, so it makes sense to believe that he's still alive (although I don't believe it).

On that vein, I hate that Nick at Nite doesn't show Taxi anymore.

There is no lingerie in space…

I don't know what's up with Nick at Nite anymore. If they get any closer to the present with their "classic" re-reruns, they're going to be showing episodes of reality shows.

Couldn't agree with you more there. Plus, over the past several years, their lineup has been horribly stitled. They only have, like, three or four shows that they endlessly put through rotation.
