Thank you very much for putting this out-I did have one question, because this is a TV broadcast, is it edited for content? I assume most of the profanity and nudity would be removed.

This was originally broadcast on HDNET MOVIES, which is a high def, pay channel. It was NOT
edited at all. You can get it on DirecTV, some cable systems, and possibly DISH Network.

Is there someone downloading this who would burn it for me for the cost of blanks and postage (yeah, cost of a blank DL)? I'm at college and the server here chokes off the P2P ports and I can't download a damned thing.

I used to be very active on this forum. I’m not really anymore. Sometimes, people still want to get in touch with me about something, and that is great! If that describes you, please email me at [my username]ATgmailDOTcom.

Hi everybody. You’re all awesome. Keep up the good work.

Once i get the full discs, i would be more than happy to make copies for others.
I'd just ask folks to send the blanks in a self stamped/addressed envelope. That
way i just burn the discs, and post them the next morning. I wont have to go
to the post office for postage or anything.

I assume the film is in 16X9 since the source was HD ?

I have a question, is there a specific software to burn a dual layer dvd on two single layer dvds or do I use dvdshrink to split the disc ?

no..you have to burn two different dvd-rom discs and join them together once you get a dual-layer burner.

if you're not burning this dual-layer then it's pointless.

Thats true, and to reiterate a point..DUAL LAYERED burners are really cheap right now.
You can get the latest Pioneer DL burner for as little as $35.00

Description: The Pioneer DVR-110 supports 16x write speeds on both DVD-R/+R along with the capability to write at 8x speed on DVD-R/+R Double/Dual Layer media. The DVR-110 enhances a wide range of DVD applications including the authoring, editing and storing of video files, developing digital music catalogues, building image libraries and backing up data.

There are programs you can use to split it across two discs, but you won't be able to rejoin it later--the discs would be ripped and complete reauthored to rejoin the video on the two discs.

OK whatever.

If you want to get up in the middle of the movie and switch discs, that's fine with me. All I'm saying is, there's no reason to not burn a dual-layer disc or even have a DL burner at this point. I won't be making single-layer versions of my stuff. If anyone out there has done that, it's on them but I certainly don't want it.

Seems like the seed went down and all the peers as well.

11 GB is a bit taxing, even for someone like me with top speed and a DL burner. Probably should have broken it up into two releases.

Don't know what you're talking about. I'm still connected and haven't lost connection. Says that I'm connected to 71 peers and it's still uploading.

You know what's ironic? I waited all this time to torrent the thing because of the cover artwork and guess what? The file that is being torrented isn't complete. I'm going to have to get a final version from the creator and put it up. Sorry guys. He loaded it onto a web page and I goofed. I thought the file was completed when I saved it.

Sorry, it was a problem I had on my end, where I just randomly got disconnected.

Are you saying that this 11.00 GB file is incomplete? Should I stop the download?

The reason I say break it up into 2 downloads (Disc 1 and Disc 2) is because at 11 GB, the seeders are going to be about 5 days away, of any significance..know what I mean?

Hardcore Legend:

No, stay with the torrent. The only thing that's incomplete is the cover. It's an unfinished version.

I was wondering if anyone could tell me how I could just download disc one and skip number two? I'm pretty excited about watching HD Blade Runner, but I could care less about the extras. Just thought it would save me some hard drive space. Thanks in advance for the help.

Use Azureus, Bitcomet, or utorrent--read the faqs for them, it describes how to select what files you want. It's pretty simple.

Yeah. This is just the type of thing I was trying to prevent. But I guess there's nothing you can do about it.

Oh and btw...you can't watch Blade Runner in HD from this. It's not HD.

I already messaged him. Whether he responds or not is a different story.

Maybe he just downloaded the 2nd disc and not the first? Who knows. I guess there's no way of exactly finding out what he has.
