Hasbro’s releasing a line of Star Wars Transformers figures. IGN Article.

The second wave is going to have Boba Fett and Darth Maul!

So, what do you guys think about this? Personally, I think it’s a bit random, but still pretty cool.

By the way, what’s up with Vader having a shield?

For me, it's just one more step in the infinite-over-use of the SW licence...
C'mon, when we think that some fans will buy that, and every other objects with the SW label on it...
And more than this, I've seen some photos of those SW transformers and, honestly, I find 'em really awful...

I saw it at Target, poked at it with my index finger, and turned away in disgust.

I did see a Han Solo action figure on the Jabba skiff thing. It was nice to see something that WASN'T a PT type of toy for sale. I guess that is one good thing about the whole "saga" aspect of Star Wars. We are seeing the OT back on the shelves again. Unfortunatly all the Luke stuff was gone. Well...maybe that is a good thing considering that THAT was what was all bought up to the point where there were none left.

Tells, ya something doesn't it?

And, I thought prett much the same thing when I saw Luke on my "Kudos bar" box. I bit a bite out of my bar and it took me a moment to regester what I was seeing on the box in my hand.

And then it hit me! "Holy cow! It's...it's Luke! LUKE! On a candy box! And he is in ROTJ garb! Wow, I bet something like this hasn't been seen since 1983! Wow, a 23 year old movie, and it's plastered on this box like it's supposed to be this years summer blockbuster hit! I can't believe it! The OT will live on forever, man!"
