Okay, I am now burning the first dual layer copy of the disc. I've burned about 30 single layer copies already.

I had a laaaarge collection of DVD-ROM extras that I wanted to include (about 2.1 GB) ... Bo McCarty had done encodes of Return of the Ewok, Classic Creatures, From Star Wars to Jedi, and Horizon: How to Film the Impossible, specifically for this release.

They're lovely and I hope this collection makes its way to the 'net ... maybe even on its own, or broken up into its component files.

There were a few things I had to leave out. I wanted to include the Turkish Star Wars, but at 700 MB it was just too big.

I had to start cutting things to get it down so it would burn ... I included Star Wars the Musical, but had to cut out the "making of the musical" videos and some of the Mp3s that were already included as video files.

I was able to include the Story of Star Wars, Empire and Jedi, but had to remove the Rebel Mission to Ord Mantell album.

I was able to include basically every cover that's been released for the OCP releases.

You can watch Return of the Ewok with audio commentary by Warwick Davis.

There's a lot of stuff there, and dual layer folks will get value for their dual layerness.

Since the disc looks so great in single layer (even now I can't really tell the difference), I wanted to give the dual layer people SOMETHING extra, so there it is.

I highly recommend either version.

Rock on.
