That is IF the story was ever about Vader/Anakin in the first place. Which the logical among us know it wasn't. Vader was, as said before, just a bad-ass bad guy.

Good point, I guess I should say he should have had the main details of Vaders turn and how the whole scene went in 1994 when he began writing the prequels. There is just no excuse for reworking the key scene of the whole prequels, and not have atleast a clear vision of how it should go. To me that sums up my frustration with the PT sometimes.
