Exactly, what was trying to say, and I don't think I was fully able mostly because of language barrier (although I'm fluent, there are some words with no equivalent in english), is that although some people would possibly take such event as being a negative one, for some reason or another, I think you should take it as being positive (and I belive you do), not only that your friend is somewhere, someplace we don't know or don't understand, but that he is thinking about the people he cared for.

Chaltab, I am as skeptic as you are, and religiously agnostic, but I've heard of things told by me by other people that have absolutely no logical explanation and would blow any skeptics minds (cannot go into detail).

Bossk, about the dead air thing, I've heard radios go out for minutes/hours/days without explanation from the radio stations (happened this week with my favorite radio station), but that was not the case with you.
