My experience pretty much mirrors that. I was 13 when TPM came out, and I was full of the excitement of getting to see a new Star Wars movie on the big screen for the first time, trying to mirror the experience of my forefathers who saw the original Star Wars for the first time. Even though I knew it wasn't going to be as good. I was 16 when AOTC came out, and I was very much in the throes of unrequitted love, so I ate up the love story then because I was just as sappy as Anakin. And, yeah, still 19. ROTS came out. I just finished my freshman year of college on top of the world, finally reunited with my girlfriend. Of course, I laughed at ROTS, but it was still... kinda poignant. And exciting.
