This movie was released commercially on DVD by Hen's Tooth in 2000 and reissued by Family Home Entertainment in 2003. It can be purchased on ebay from several vendors. I know nothing of its quality, but it is a legit release as it is listed on Amazon.

If you are all making a list of Lost Clasics that still NEED to be put on DVD, you must include that Dom DeLuise, Jerry Reed opus "HOT STUFF" from 1979. It was out on VHS, but has yet to be put on DVD.

if some one as I said owns the laser disc version and would be willing to do the transfer and upload a torrent to
the web or just use the good old pay it forward process.

Holy crap. That's a trip back into time. They filmed it just down the street from where I used to live.

I have a very decent-looking Howard the Duck DVD. It has 5.1 Surround sound somehow...

I used to be very active on this forum. I’m not really anymore. Sometimes, people still want to get in touch with me about something, and that is great! If that describes you, please email me at [my username]ATgmailDOTcom.

Hi everybody. You’re all awesome. Keep up the good work.

"The Wizard" Starring Fred Savage.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0098663/

Corey and Jimmy Woods are two brothers who are being separated due to their parents divorcing. Jimmy is a mentally unstable kid that has had problems ever since his sister died at a young age. One day, Corey discovers that Jimmy has a natural talent for playing video games. He is one of the best around, and the two journey to the West Coast to compete in a video game championship, but along the way, they must avoid the adults, who are trying to take Jimmy away.

I heard there was a german DVD of this movie, which I loved as a kid because of the glimpses of Super Mario Brothers 3.. I really hope it comes out on DVD one day.

There's usually a pretty good correlation between an old film getting lots of airtime, and an eventual DVD release.

Now, if only they'ed re-release Remo Williams in widescreen (like is being done with Muppet Treasure Island. Now I can finally buy the damn thing! )

"Howard The Duck""

You got me. I'd love to have this film!

Oh, and where the Hell is "The Keep"?!?

MeBeJedi: Sadly, I believe the prequels are beyond repair.
JediRandy: They’re certainly beyond any repair you’re capable of making.

MeBeJedi: You aren’t one of us.
Go-Mer-Tonic: I can’t say I find that very disappointing.

JediRandy: I won’t suck as much as a fan edit.

I don't think the silent Harold Lloyd film Safety Last is available on DVD. Would be a nice one to have indeed.
