Yeah, the AOD Anchor Bay releases are crap... all of them are VHS sourced rather than transferred from film elements. I have no idea why a reputable company would do that other than corner cutting or lack of access to the original filmstock. The R3 MGM DVD from Deltamac Hong Kong is the best one by far, it contains scenes not included in the US versions and is mastered from film in 16:9 with 5.1 audio! There is no better version out there.
