i wonder when doctor who 2023 aka doctor who 2005 returns
It already did with the wonderful additions of Jodie and Nuctie and the now reintroduction of Billie.
Those muppets killed the show

Negative fans did; the actors and writers just took a job.
I’m just a simple man trying to make my way in the universe.
Star Wars has 3 eras: The eras are 1977-1983(pre Expanded Universe), (1983-2014) expanded universe, or (2014- now) Disney-bought version. Each are valid.
My movie reviews aren’t AI, they’re just written by someone who’s Neurodivergent. If you don’t like them, then simply don’t read them.
I really hope Billie’s cameo is simply ignored or something. Such a sad way to end a season and an era.
still can not believe its a end of a era
the end of the doctor who 2005 to 2025 era
earth 1 nowadays kinda reminds me of the star wars multiverse
there are a lot of good topics in this forums
I do hope that they avoid the urge for a hard reboot.
I thought they came up with multiple regenerations. and some excuse for Tennant Doctor to still be alive and around and Gatwa before the regeneration.
Is Rose actually the Doctor. If so, why not just do that for a season and then recast. Why is it so difficult to make a show for the BBC.
They can continue to roll out Big Finish audio.
the Show proper on hiatus and no special was idiotic.
Unless BBC is making big cuts and intends to cancel Doctor Who.

Which would be idiotic, of course. But looking at some of their decisions over the last couple of years, it’s not outside the realm of possibility.
If the BBC gets to keep the console room set post Disney I would like to do something a bit experimental. Take the idea of the Pertwee years and use it to reset the Doctor Who universe. Currently contemporary stories are set in a world where giant spaceships are a frequent fixture in the sky over mostly London looking like Cardiff. I would stick the UNIT family on the TARDIS maybe with the Master and have them undo the TCE collapse, the Time War and the Flux. By visiting fracture points in the universe and resetting things. This ties back to the original mission statement document for the show by Sidney Newman. He wanted the TARDIS crew to be trouble shooters fixing disrupted history. Like Quantum Leap but with multiple characters. We have had the Doctors travel with single or a few companions for decades but the Pertwee era had an extended cast of returning characters like Benton and the Brig. At the very end of the era the TARDIS crew would remember the post Flux universe but Logopolis, Traken, Gallifrey, Skaro etc would all be back to how they were in the 1970s Only UNIT would know about and would cover up aliens and the Doctor would go back to exploring time and space in a new/old universe. He would probably never go back to Gallifrey either. It’s more conspicuous when absent but not very interesting when present.
