Whitest Kids U' Know - Uncensored

With no hope for a blu-ray release, I’ve taken it upon myself to re-assemble the first few seasons of WKUK using the best quality footage available. Thankfully, seasons 4 & 5 got HD releases on streaming back in the day, and web-dls are readily available. This project only covers seasons 1 - 3.

It was shot and edited (mostly) in HD, but the only complete and uncensored version is the original DVD (the new DVD is censored) which is long out of print and very expensive on the second-hand market. But thankfully a lot of sketches got HD releases online.

I have not done anything to clean up the issues with the HD masters, simply edited everything together to match the complete DVDs. Most of them seem compression related, but this was a TV show in the mid 2000’s so it’s pretty soft looking in general. Even with that, these are still much nicer in quality compered to what we had.

The original commentary tracks are included, as well as custom chapters labeling each sketch. Funnily enough the commentaries on season 3 frequently bring up a blu-ray release that never happened.

Censored HD web-dls (slightly less censored then the standard YT uploads)
YouTube uploads of “banned” sketches (not sure if these are official or not, but they are native HD and not upscales)
DVD rips (Used for audio*, upscaled video used for a small amount of footage that I couldn’t find in HD)
*the audio is in mp3. I couldn’t find the raw ac3 online, but it should sync to the video if I ever get a hold of it.

Potential Future Updates
If I can get ahold of the new DVDs, those have new commentary tracks edited to the censored episodes. I would like to edit those to these to make it as complete as possible.
I’d also like to get better rips of the original DVDs. The ones I have are re-encoded, and I’d like the audio tracks and subtitles.

I’ve been busy, but I’m slowly working through season 2.

Season 2 is now complete.

Hey! That’s super cool! I’ve been thinking a lot about WKUK lately with Zach Cregger coming out with super good spooky movies. I haven’t watched it since I was a kid and it was coming out on IFC(? not sure if that’s what it was on but that’s what I remember lol), so I had no idea that that uncensored versions of it are so hard to get now. I’m sure it’s super hard and tedious work, but it will be awesome to be able to show people the stuff that made me and my brother piss laughing back in the day. Thank you so much for stepping up and making these happen! ❤️

Season 3 is done. This project is now complete.

So I was able to get ahold of the new DVDs, and it turns out the commentaries on those are just direct ports of the old commentary tracks only edited to account for removed sketches.

Let’s just say some of the sketches to the group are “dated”.

Just to point out Shout! re-released the series in a second printing that features a majority of the missing sketches when they first released the set (an error on their part), but 5 are still absent (because, as stated, “dated” content).
