Curious, is your source the first 4K disc from 2022 or the superior second 4K disc from 2025?
I’m using the old disc instead of new one because There really isin’t that big of a difference… It’s the same master, just encoded slightly better; the color differences also don’t matter, considering I’m regrading the film.

I’ve updated the screenshots to V.2. The download delivery system should be ready in a few days.
I’ll post an update when it’s ready.

Beyond hyped! Thank you so much for your work restoring one of the old time greats.
Hell yeah
These look really nice, can’t wait to give them a watch!
Really looking forward to V2. Owned this film on every imaginable format and was never satisfied.
Question: Is it gonna include (English) subs? I don’t have a 4K drive to rip the official disc.
Anybody here have V1 they’d be willing to share while we await V2?
Amzing work. One of my favourite Spielberg movies.

I really hope this will release some day! The changes you made is exactly what i wish for in an official release. I can not unsee the magenta in the whole movie 😄
Best wishes and i will patiently wait for this lovely thing to release

Can’t wait to see it!
FINAL (i hope) UPDATE:
Well, after many rendering failures I decided to toss the source I was using for the film and just rip my own UHD instead, this solved the rendering issues and is also a vast improvement in quality and color information. The render has started without any issues, I expect it to be finished in about a week. There will be two versions of the project: a large 90-gb file and a smaller 40gb or so file (both in 4K). Once complete I’ll post a link to the instructions on how to download.
thanks for your patience.
Here’s a little preview of the final grade:
