Really enjoyed this one. The Tatooine sequence is tightened up well, the Jabba palace stuff moves at a better pace. Visually it’s a step up too the color works well and i like some of the manual changes like the sun over endor. My main gripe is some of the musical choices. Cues from other parts of the saga sometimes work, there are moments where the score is working overtime on scenes that were already landing. The biggest miss for me is removing the music during the Vader and Luke duel near the end right before luke cuts of vaders hand.That scene’s music is a huge part of what makes it hit, and losing it undercuts the moment. Minor complaints overall though. A really solid edit and a great companion to Adywan’s Revisited releases if you’re doing an OT marathon.
