Hey, do you have another link to the Discord? The one in the OP is expired.

It still seemed to work for me, but I generated a new link (updated above in post as well) that should work with no expiration date on it. https://discord.gg/TNzZzdScpK

Last thing Pixel said publicly back in August on his Trailer #2:

The question was asked:

“Is pixel using AI for voices now? I was under the impression he was only using voice actors.”

Discord user FilmicCrossroads (a collaborator on the movie) replied:

“We only use ai to enhance certain details of our own work. Elevenlabs allows you to take recorded lines and make them closer to the character your trying to emmulate.”

Yeah, ElevenLabs is a bit of a rabbit hole once you start down it lol. Some personal experience there.

I know! It’s great to see that it’s so far along and that it’s getting good feedback.

I am so curious as to what the big idea that he’s changing about the story is. He keeps alluding to it and it’s driving me crazy lol.

I’m assuming Vader will be saying even more vulnerable things than what he said in the original show based on what PixelJoker said in this video.

Yeah he’s mentioned on Reddit and maybe even Discord that Padme is in it a bit. And it sounds like he’ll definitely have some more dialogue with the emperor. Might even have some new dialogue with the Grand Inquisitor since he’s being re-dubbed too.

EDIT: Now that I think about it this is likely a spoiler LOL

I wonder if perhaps Vader has convinced himself that Obi-Wan is responsible for Padme’s death? As in, he doesn’t want to believe what Palps told him - that he killed her in anger? To absolve himself of the guilt and responsibility in exchange for simple revenge.

The resolution of which would be Obi-Wan informing him of Padme’s last words about there still being good in him, and how he’d like to believe that, too.

He already seems like he’s trying to convince himself of your theory in RoTS when he snaps back at Palps saying “she was alive, I felt it!”. And then in RotJ when Luke tries to convince him there’s still good in him, Vader says “Obi-Wan once thought as you do”… You might be on to something!
