We can assume the DS1 can travel at lightspeed because it does. I don’t think it’s necessary to see it.
Would also make the plot hole of why the DS doesn’t just hyperspace to a positon were it can instantly destroy the rebel base less explicit.
Whoever made it canon that the DS has hyperspace is an absolute idiot.
