Changes

  • Fixed issues with source files to enhance quality
  • Rewrote introduction text
  • Created new opening shot of Star Destroyer
    • Used Kallus’ theme to score the opening.
    • Added all sound effects
  • Extended shot of Ezra’s house.
  • Made the pan up shot (where Ezra is riding his bike into the city) zoom into the city rather then hang over the Star Destroyer for better flow.
    • Also fixed the choppiness of this pan
  • Cut original opening with the inquisitor and Vader
  • Moved shots of the Ghost crew getting a new job to fill time between Ezra going into the city.
  • Rewrote Old Jho to give this scene a better flow into the next events.
  • Fixed pan down shot (that starts on the TIEs in Lothal City) it was really choppy in the original for some reason.
  • Made Aresko call for the Gotal’s execution instead of just “take him away.”
  • Aresko calls the Gotal a “Alien Skrag” instead of “Lothal Scum”.
  • Made the stormtrooper attempt to talk to Sabine after she throws the grenade on his speeder bike. He’s animated like he should say something…
    • I ripped these lines from Jedi Academy.
  • Cut “What the?” from the stormtrooper on the bike, I just hated this line.
    • Now he says “What?” which was ripped from Jedi Academy.
  • Cut Sabine reaction shot to Ezra being in the ship vents
    • I’d previously cut dialogue from as it and it still felt odd so it’s gone.
  • Zeb now says anyone who fought back against the relocation that led to Tarkintown got executed instead of arrested
  • Removed “your intel was accurate, this time.” from Kanan as it no longer fits with my intro
    • Line has been replaced with “Otherwise, we wouldn’t be here. You want them?”
  • Removed repeated “what the?” line from stormtroopers when Sabine cuts the gravity.
    • Replaced it with a confused dialogue line from Jedi academy instead.
  • Made the stormtroopers guarding Ezra’s cell talk. They’re animated like they should??
    • Made Ezra’s lines here sound like they actually coming from a cell with a locked door.
  • Redubbed Obi-Wan’s speech to make it delivered by Ewan McGregor.
  • cut Kallus being so surprised the Rebels would attack his star destroyer.
  • rewrote what Ezra says to Kallus over the comms.
    • he now says “This is TK421. I’ve located additional intruders. I saw them in the upper hanger! I’ve counted 16 but there could be many more!” instead of “This is LS123 reporting intruders in the upper hanger. Sir i believe the lower hanger is a diversion.”
    • Then I cut Kallus saying “maybe, maybe not.”
  • cut Kallus telling his troopers where to aim so late into the battle, it felt wrong.
  • Updated the Kessel VFX to change the planet to how it looks is solo
    • The rest of the effect has been improved to match the higher quality source.
  • Fixed jittery establishing pan shots on Kessel.
  • Updated Kallus model
  • Cut Ezra knowing the Empire wiped out all the Jedi.
  • Retimed and fixed all subtitles.
